A.T.A. Guitar Cases
These durable and protective cases are available in your choice of Flight Form, Light Flight, or Light Duty case styles. For Flight Form ATA cases, the standard hardware package includes four-inch wide by four-inch tall recessed twist latches, three-sided flat corners, a recessed spring-loaded handle* centered on the front of the case, and a full piano hinge. Standard hardware on our Light Flight models consists of surface-mounted drawbolt style latches, three-sided flat corners, surface-mounted spring-loaded handle, and a full piano hinge.
Case interiors are filled with foam which has been custom cut to fit the particular instrument that the case is intended to protect. A popular option that we have available is to wrap the insert with a plush fabric covering. This helps to protect the finish of the intstrument during travel.
We offer a range of standard case shells, (see details below), that accommodate the vast majority of stringed instruments that are on the market today. By measuring the overall length, width and height of your instrument, you can determine which of our shells will best suit your needs. Whether you have a Gibson Les Paul, an Ibanez 7-String, a Martin acoustic or a Fender P-Bass, chances are good that we already have specifications on file for your guitar and will be able to fit it into one of our standard shells. If you have a non-standard instrument that is not readily applicable to our standard shells, rest assured that we can produce a properly sized case for you. There is no extra charge for this since all of our pricing is based on the square and linear footage of materials used to build the case. In the event that we don't have the dimensions for your particular instrument on file, there are still some options we can pursue:
- First, we will try to locate the instrument locally and take the measurements from it. This is the least amount of hassle for you and guarantees that the case will be properly fitted to the instrument.
- Alternatively, you can supply the dimensions to us via snail-mail by downloading our guitar measuring sheet, (260K - requires Adobe's Acrobat Reader). Instructions for submitting your information to us is included in the document.

* All Flight Form cases must be 5.75" deep to accommodate a recessed, spring loaded dish handle. The two cases which are indicated with an asterisk are too narrow so we install a spring loaded non-recessed handle instead.
